Vintage Excalibur Swiss Watch AS 5201 17J Incabloc Date Stainless Steel 1970s

A very attractive vintage Swiss Excalibur gentleman's wristwatch, dating approximately from the 1970s.

The watch features a clean silver dial with applied baton hour markers, matching hands, centre seconds and date window at 3 o'clock.

The dial is signed EXCALIBUR, 17 JEWELS INCABLOC and T SWISS MADE T.

Inside is a Swiss A. Schild AS 5201 family 17-jewel mechanical movement with Incabloc shock protection.

The stainless-steel case has a classic 1970s shape and measures approximately 35–36 mm excluding the crown (approximately 37.9 mm including the crown).

The stainless-steel case back is marked ANTIMAGNETIC – WATERPROOF – STAINLESS STEEL – SWISS MADE, with reference numbers 1550 / 15991.

Fitted with a black leather strap which complements the silver dial and steel case very well.

The watch presents beautifully for its age, with only normal signs of vintage use visible in the photographs.
