Vintage Cenea 17 Jewels Swiss Mechanical Watch – EB 8800 – 32mm - 1960's

Vintage Cenea 17 Jewels Swiss-made mechanical wristwatch, circa late 1960s / early 1970s.

A beautiful vintage Swiss dress watch in excellent cosmetic condition, featuring an elegant gold-tone case and a remarkably well-preserved silver/cream dial with applied gold-tone numerals and hour markers.

The dial is signed Cenea – 17 Jewels, with Waterprotected, Antimagnetic and T Swiss Made T markings. The original-style luminous hands have developed an attractive aged patina that gives the watch plenty of vintage character.

Inside is a Swiss EB 8800 17-jewel manual-wind mechanical movement, which is clean and well preserved. The watch winds and sets correctly, is currently running well and keeping good time.

The case measures approximately 32mm excluding the crown (33.79mm measured), a classic size for a vintage gentleman's dress watch.

The watch is fitted with a brown leather strap which complements the gold-tone case very well.
