Vintage 1960s Oris Super 17 Jewels Swiss Mechanical Wristwatch

A very attractive vintage Oris Super, dating from approximately the 1960s, with a classic gold-plated case, light dial and date display at 3 o'clock.

The watch is powered by a signed Oris calibre 484 KIF, 17-jewel Swiss mechanical hand-wound movement. It winds and sets correctly and is currently running very well.

The dial presents very nicely for its age, retaining its original vintage character, and the crystal is in good condition.

The watch has been fitted with a new Condor long genuine leather strap in dark brown, which complements the gold-tone case beautifully.

This is a genuine vintage watch and shows age-related signs of use. The gold-plated case has marks, scratches and some wear to the plating, clearly visible in the photographs. These are consistent with a watch of this age and give it plenty of vintage character.

The inside of the case back carries numerous watchmaker's service inscriptions, indicating that the watch has received professional attention during its lifetime. The date and details of the most recent service are unknown, however, and it is therefore not being sold as recently serviced.

The watch is currently winding, setting and running very well.
