Vintage 1950s Accurist 21 Jewels Swiss Watch 10 Micron Gold Filled ETA 2390

Beautiful vintage Accurist Swiss mechanical wristwatch, believed to date from the late 1950s or early 1960s.

A particularly elegant example featuring a stunning champagne-coloured sunburst dial with fine engraved radial detailing, applied gold-tone hour markers, Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12, and matching gold-tone hands.

The watch features a lovely gold-filled case, stamped "Gold Filled 10 Microns", with a stainless steel screw-down caseback.

Inside is a beautiful copper-coloured Swiss 21-jewel manual-winding movement, signed Accurist. The movement is believed to be an ETA 2390 or closely related calibre, based on its architecture and the number 2390 stamped inside the caseback. The exact calibre has not been independently confirmed.
