Swissair 1931–2001 Limited Edition Chronograph No. 666 Aviation Quartz Watch

A striking Swissair commemorative wristwatch produced to mark the airline's 1931–2001 anniversary, individually numbered No. 666 on the case back.

The watch has a highly detailed cream dial inspired by aviation instrumentation, with contrasting red accents, luminous-style hands and multiple scales around the outer dial. The gold-tone case and distinctive scalloped bezel give it considerable wrist presence.

The dial features three subsidiary displays together with a date window positioned between 4 and 5 o'clock. Chronograph pushers sit above and below the crown.

Fitted with a brown crocodile-pattern genuine leather strap and matching gold-tone buckle. The strap is used and shows visible wear, particularly around the adjustment holes and where it meets the lugs, but remains presentable.

The watch itself is in very attractive cosmetic condition. The dial, crystal and gold-tone case present particularly well, while the polished case back has light surface marks consistent with normal use.

A fascinating piece of aviation memorabilia as well as an attractive large-format chronograph, particularly interesting to collectors of Swissair, airline memorabilia and aviation watches.
