Custom Marriage Watch 45mm with Original Hamilton 921 Pocket Watch Movement 1950
A striking custom marriage watch built around an original Hamilton 921 hand-wound pocket watch movement dating from approximately 1950, giving a fine vintage American movement a new life as a substantial 45mm wristwatch.
The watch retains the beautiful vintage Hamilton dial, with applied gold-tone Arabic numerals, matching gold-tone hands and a traditional subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock. The warm cream dial and elegant typography give the watch unmistakable mid-century character.
The original pocket watch components have been fitted into a modern polished 45mm wristwatch case with articulated wire-style lugs. A brown leather strap with contrasting cream stitching complements the gold-tone details of the dial particularly well.
