The GW-5000U retains the unmistakable shape of the original 1983 G-Shock while incorporating modern Tough Solar charging and Multi Band 6 radio-controlled timekeeping.
Unlike many standard resin G-Shock models, the GW-5000 series uses a substantial stainless steel inner case with a screw-back construction, giving the watch a noticeably more premium feel while retaining the shock-resistant resin exterior.
